Bathukamma, a festival celebrated with devotion in entire Telangana during Dura Navarathri period got better with State Government announcing long holidays for all educational institutions. Farmers from neighbouring Karnataka and Maharashtra have flooded Hyderabad markets with colourful flowers to give a wide choice to people. Durga idols are either being given final touches by artisans or transported for installations at public places. The Hindu photographers Satyanarayana Gola, Mohammed Yousuf and P.V.
