North-east Monsoon clubbed with Cyclone Nilofar in Arabian Sea brought rains to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Flood waters in River Krishna are being released into sea from Prakasam Barrage. The muddy waters also bring variety of fish downstream – a feast for avians and human beings. The Hindu photographer Ch. Vijaya Bhaskar captures the successful efforts of some birds at the barrage in Vijayawada.
